China's First and Only! Beijing OriginWater's Pilot Platform Shines on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's ‘Key List’

Recently, the national first pilot platform for polyolefin RO/NF membranes, independently constructed by OriginWater has drawn renewed attention. The MIIT has announced that this platform has been successfully included in the first batch of key cultivation pilot platforms, as the sole one in Beijing's petrochemical sector. This underscores OriginWater's ongoing domestic leadership in high-performance separation membrane R&D and industrialization.

The polyolefin RO/NF membrane pilot platform, constructed by OriginWater, is China's first pilot platform based on polyolefin substrates for RO and NF membranes, covering an area of 8,000 m², represents a major upgrade from traditional non-woven/polyphenylene sulfide-based test lines.It achieves localization of high-end production equipment with an annual capacity of 5 million m².

By eliminating the casting process, this platform reduces material, water, electricity, and gas consumption compared to conventional lines, driving green and low-carbon transformation in RO/NF membrane manufacturing.
